Privacy Policy
Movity — a product of Vision Cine X Inc.
Version 1.0 — March 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information about users of Movity is collected, used, and disclosed by Vision Cine X Inc. ("Vision Cine X," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").
It describes our privacy practices in connection with the use of Movity (movity.io), its mobile applications, APIs, and all related features and services (collectively, the "Service"). It also explains your choices regarding the collection, use, access, storage, and correction of your information.
By creating an account or using the Service — and by agreeing to our Terms of Service where required — you consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information described in this Privacy Policy.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the version date above and notify you by email, in-app notification, or other reasonable means at least 14 days before changes take effect. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly.
For service terms and user obligations, see our Terms of Service. For cookie-specific details, see our Cookie Policy.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information to operate the Service, support creators and viewers, enable discovery, and comply with legal obligations.
Information You Provide to Us
When you create an account or use the Service, you may provide:

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:
- Usage data such as videos watched, search queries, likes, follows, comments, embeds, shares, and time spent on the platform.
- Content interaction data such as playback position, watch completion rate, re-watches, and download activity.
- Device and technical data such as IP address, device type and identifiers, browser and operating system, app version, and error logs.

- Cookie and tracking data to provide essential functionality, remember preferences, analyze usage, and improve the Service. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including:
- Authentication providers if you sign in using a third-party service (e.g., Google).
- Analytics or fraud detection providers.
- Rights holders or their agents who submit DMCA takedown notices referencing your content.
- Publicly available sources.
How We Use Personal Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and deliver the Service, including account setup, video hosting and streaming, content discovery, search, social features, and creator tools.
- Personalize your experience, including recommendations, curated feeds, and discovery features based on your viewing history, interactions, and preferences.
- Enable AI-powered features such as auto-tagging, visual search, metadata generation, and content analysis. We contractually prohibit AI providers from training their models on your Content.
- Run the Creator Program and Referral Program, including processing payouts, tracking qualifying actions, crediting rewards, and preventing fraud.
- Enable social and collaboration features, including public profiles, follows, comments, Collaborations, and credits.
- Process payments and subscriptions, including billing, refunds, and subscription management.
- Enforce age restrictions for Mature Content by using the date of birth you provide during registration.
- Monitor, test, and improve the performance, safety, and quality of the Service.
- Communicate with you, including service notifications, security alerts, support responses, product updates, and — where you have consented — marketing and promotional messages.
- Protect the platform, including detecting and preventing copyright infringement, fraud, abuse, spam, and other harmful behavior.
- Comply with legal obligations, including responding to DMCA notices, law enforcement requests, and regulatory requirements.
Our legal bases for processing personal data include: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required.
Public Information and Social Features
Movity is a public platform. When you create a public profile or publish Content publicly, certain information is visible to everyone, including users who are not logged in:
- Your username, display name, profile photo, and bio.
- Your published videos and associated metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, credits).
- Your follower and following counts.
- Your likes and comments on public Content.
- Collaborations and credits accepted on your profile.
You can control the visibility of certain information through your account privacy settings. However, Content you have already made public may have been embedded, shared, or indexed by search engines before you change your settings — we cannot guarantee removal from third-party caches or indexes.
How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited circumstances:
- With service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, video delivery, analytics, payments, communications, fraud detection, and AI processing. These providers process information only on our behalf and under strict contractual obligations.
- With other users, when you choose to make your profile, Content, or interactions public, or when you accept a Collaboration credit on another user's Content.
- With rights holders, when we are required to share your information in connection with a DMCA takedown process, including forwarding counter-notices to the original complainant.
- At your direction, for example when you enable embedding, share a link, or connect a third-party integration.
- To comply with legal obligations, including court orders, subpoenas, law enforcement requests, or regulatory requirements. Where permitted by law, we will notify you of such requests.
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where protections for your data remain in place.
Service Providers
We rely on trusted third-party service providers to help us operate, secure, and improve the Service. These providers process personal information only on our behalf and under strict contractual obligations, including confidentiality, security, and data protection terms. Current providers include:
- Hosting & Infrastructure — Cloudflare (global edge delivery and CDN), Google Cloud Platform (compute and storage), Supabase (managed database)
- Video Delivery — Cloudflare (video streaming and delivery). Video transcoding is performed internally on our own infrastructure — no third-party provider processes your video files.
- Analytics & Monitoring — PostHog
- Payments & Billing — Stripe
- Communications & Email — Loops
- AI & Content Analysis — Google (Gemini / Vertex AI) for auto-tagging, visual search, and content analysis
These vendors may process data in the United States, the European Union, Asia-Pacific, or other regions. Whenever personal information is transferred internationally, we apply the safeguards described in the section below.
Data Processing and International Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Whenever personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) where applicable, or equivalent legally recognized safeguards to protect your data.
Our primary infrastructure providers include Cloudflare (global edge network), Google Cloud Platform (Asia-Pacific and U.S. regions), and Supabase (managed database). Data may be stored and processed in multiple regions to ensure performance and reliability.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and serve relevant content. For full details on what we use and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.
Security
The security of your information and Content is a top priority. We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, infrastructure monitoring, and regular security reviews.
In the event of a personal data breach that may affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay, consistent with applicable law.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@visioncinex.com.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations. Retention periods include:

- Analytics data: up to 24 months, then anonymized.
- Creator payout and tax records: 7 years (for tax and legal compliance).
- DMCA and legal correspondence: 3 years, or as required by law.
- Support logs: 2 years.

After applicable retention periods, information is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain types of processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (data portability).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that have significant legal or similar effects on you.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@visioncinex.com. We respond to EU/EEA requests within one month (extendable by two months where lawful) and to California requests within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days where reasonably necessary). We may request proof of identity to verify your request.
Regional Rights
EU/EEA (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have specific rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. You may also contact our EU representative at eu-representative@visioncinex.com.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share;
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain advertising analytics or content delivery partnerships may qualify as "sharing" under California law;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (including precise geolocation, account credentials, and, where collected, age-related data).
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@visioncinex.com with the subject "California Privacy Request." We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. California consumers may also use an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf.
Other Jurisdictions
Users in other jurisdictions (including the UK, Brazil, Canada, and Australia) may have similar rights under their local privacy laws. We honor requests from users in all jurisdictions to the extent required by applicable law. Contact privacy@visioncinex.com for assistance.
Children's Privacy
Movity is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 may use the Service with parental consent but may not access Mature Content, enroll in the Creator Program, or receive financial payouts.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact privacy@visioncinex.com.
Content Moderation and Automated Processing
The Service uses automated tools — including AI-based classifiers and content recognition systems — to detect potentially infringing, harmful, or policy-violating Content at upload and after publication. These tools may flag Content for human review or take automated action (such as restricting visibility or blocking audio).
Where automated decisions may significantly affect you (such as account suspension or Content removal), you may contact us to request human review of the decision at legal@visioncinex.com.
Creator Earnings and Tax Data
If you participate in the Creator Program or receive payouts through the Service, we collect and process financial and tax information necessary to make payments and comply with applicable tax reporting laws. This may include your legal name, address, tax identification number, and bank or payment account details. This information is handled with heightened security controls and is not shared except as required for payment processing, tax compliance, or legal obligations.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time for legal, technical, or business reasons. Material changes will be communicated in advance via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
