5. Video Player and Embed Cookies

Because Movity is a video platform, certain cookies are specifically related to video playback and embedded players:

Player preferences (volume, quality, subtitles, playback speed) are stored locally to preserve your settings across sessions. These are essential functional cookies.
Playback analytics (watch duration, completion rate, re-watches) are collected to help Creators understand their audience and to power recommendations. These are analytics cookies subject to your consent preferences.
Embed cookies — when Movity videos are embedded on third-party websites, the Movity embed player may set cookies on that third-party site for player functionality and analytics. If you encounter a Movity embed on a third-party site, that site's cookie policy also applies.

6. Session Recording and User Analytics

We may in the future use session recording tools (such as PostHog) to understand user interactions and improve the platform. If enabled, session recording would capture:

Recorded: mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, navigation patterns, video player interactions.
Not Recorded: passwords, payment details, sensitive form inputs, private messages, or video content you upload.
Privacy: sensitive data fields are masked automatically; recordings are anonymized.
Retention: session recordings would be stored for up to 12 months before deletion or aggregation.

EU/UK users: Session recording will only be enabled with your explicit consent.

7. Cookie Duration and Management

Session Cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent Cookies — remain for 1–24 months depending on type.
Server-side analytics data — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated.

8. How to Control Cookies
