Director's note

The film reflects my observations about human relationships in Los Angeles. Each part of the day shows a variation of the same absence: intimacy that doesn't quite arrive. A teenager rides the Metro alone with his grief. Two people share a bed, one of them unreachable. An aging man buys an evening of company and, somewhere in it, something that feels almost like confession. Where connection does happen, it's transactional – purchased, or bound to an agenda.

Making of

First time shooting on 35mm was a really exciting experience.
